We are so excited to finally be able to bring the program we had originally planned for March 2020 to you all!

In TESTIMONIES: A Celebration of Women’s Voices, we explore music and poetry of women around the world and through the ages. From ancient chants by Hildegard von Bingen to world premieres by Kamala Sankaram and Karen Siegel, this program honors the testimony of voices often overlooked and unheard.

In addition to the composers featured (Kate Soper, Melissa Dunphy, Donna McKevitt, Catherine Carter, Kamala Sankaram, Karen Siegel), we will also read texts by Claire Askew, Caecilia Trebulla, Sojourner Truth, and Maren Montalbano.

TESTIMONIES will next be performed November 17-18, 2023 in Pennsylvania and Delaware. The Philadelphia performance will be in the intimate chapel of the Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill on November 17, and November 18 will be presented by Market Street Music, at the First & Central Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, Delaware.
